1. Our Privacy Philosophy

Zero-Power Player is built upon a fundamental design principle: True privacy is achieved through architecture, not promises.

The application is engineered to operate completely on your local device. We do not operate remote tracking servers, we do not require account registration, and we do not capture, process, or sell any information about your listening habits, focus intervals, or hardware.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

When using Zero-Power Player (either as a native macOS application or on the web), we collect absolutely no personal data:

• No Account Information: No email, username, password, phone number, or profile data is ever requested or stored.
• No Audio Telemetry: We do not track track names, artist tags, listening duration, audio files, or volume mixer settings.
• No Location Data: We do not access GPS, IP geolocations, or network locations.
• No Analytics or Tracking SDKs: There are zero third-party analytics libraries (such as Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel, or Facebook SDK).
• No Advertising Identifiers: We do not access IDFA, advertising IDs, or display ads of any kind.
• No Tracking Cookies: No persistent tracking cookies or session identifiers are placed on your machine.

3. Local Data Storage & Your Files

You have immediate and unconditional control over your local library: clicking the "Clear All" button permanently wipes all stored tracks from your local hardware storage instantly.

4. Offline & Energy-Efficient Architecture

Zero-Power Player uses native hardware audio decoding (CoreAudio / WebAudio API). The entire application runs offline without an active internet connection. Background CPU cycles are minimized when the window is not in focus to preserve battery life and minimize thermal footprint.

5. Children’s Privacy (COPPA & Global Standards)

Zero-Power Player does not collect personal data from anyone, including children under the age of 13 (or under the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). It is rated 4+ on the Mac App Store and is completely safe for educational, study, and family environments.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

Because Zero-Power Player collects zero data, changes to this policy will only occur in the event of major structural updates. Any changes will be posted directly to this URL and noted in our release changelog.
